Mainframe Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mainframe Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in IBM Z System Automation, z/OS, NetView, REXX, and mainframe automation. The ideal candidate will lead migration from Broadcom/CA automation tools to IBM System Automation, implement policy-based automation, and ensure high availability of enterprise mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Migrate CA OPS/MVS and Automation Point to IBM System Automation.
• Convert REXX automation rules and workflows.
• Configure Policy Database (PDB) and automation policies.
• Manage z/OS startup, shutdown, and event-driven automation.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize system availability.
• Support installation, configuration, and monitoring of IBM automation tools.
